WHAT IS THIS?
In this section I will post download links to the Moonsorrow bootlegs and demos I have—a decision approved, and even encouraged, by founding member Henri Sorvali. I would like this to become some kind of Moonsorrow Rare Recording Database - it's ambitious and unlikely, but what if it happens?
I didn't record any of these bootlegs. Except one or two, which were sent to me by mail, and the Youtube ones, I think I got all the rest from Dimeadozen.org. All of them keep the original taper notes (when available)—basically, I tried to share them like I got them.
Feel free to download them and share the links—or the files—anywhere you want, with whoever you want, and do whatever you want with them. Just, please, do NOT share them in mp3 or other lossy formats. Convert them for your own needs if you wish, but let's share lossless only. Here is the reason why.
CAN I CONTRIBUTE?
Oh yes you can. If you have a bootleg that's not listed here, I am extremely interested in it! Any format - yes, mp3 too, sometimes it's the only one available. Audio or video, complete or incomplete, good or bad sound.
I insist, let's create a Moonsorrow Rare Recording Database!
Besides, if you have an FTP server, a big Dropbox account, or any other web storage service with a lot of free space, you can help me with sharing a double DVD and some other big videos I have. In any of both cases, contact me.
Informing me of broken links would also be quite nice from you.
ALL OF THIS IS SO COOL, I WANT TO CONTRIBUTE EVEN MORE!
Thank you! Do you know I also created and mantain a compilation of interviews? Any language, any format, any period... Do you have one on paper from some magazine? Scan it and I will post it! Do you feel like translating? You have plenty of material!
OKAY, END THE BABBLING AND SHOW ME THE BOOTLEGS.
Each of them has a link to the info file, where you can read all the... info. Hence the name. Cunning, huh? Setlist, source, festival (where applicable), etcetera. Date format: YYYY.MM.DD
If the link takes you to a folder where you can see many files, on the top right corner you will find the "download as .zip" option.

SORRY FOR BEING RUDE, I LOVE READING YOU. TELL ME USELESS STUFF.
Don't worry, and thanks for not complaining about the missing ones. They will be uploaded eventually.
- For five years now I've been craving for a live version of "Tulimyrsky" but I never found it (only some bits on Youtube), nor heard it live.
- "Karhunkynsi" is one of my favourite songs, and I was a bit more lucky: it can be found in the Budapest 2006 recording. That's probably the only live version I will ever hear, since apparently they won't play it again, due to it receiving a poor response from the audience. (People dislike "Karhunkynsi" but love "Pakanajuhla"?? Antediluvians!... Bagpipers!... Ungulates!... Kleptomaniacs!)
- "Taistelu Pohjolasta" isn't played often, but it isn't so rare either. I think the only live version I have is in the DVD. But, unlike "Karhunkynsi", I hope to hear it live some day.
